Barbara has been with ZapMyTax for over a decade. She was recruited by founder Peter Cohen, whom she's known since elementary school. She brings 20 years of experience as a Consumer Affairs representative for a major New York City-based Fortune 500 company.
She's an award-winning employee who received the “You Can Make a Difference” award. Barbara demonstrates strong listening skills and empathy, ensuring clients understand their case and its progression through the 18–24 month grievance process.
She provides “that special personal touch” clients appreciate, collaborates closely with certified appraisers, and maintains court readiness.
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys kayaking, swimming, and nature walks with her family.
