Nassau County Grievance Fees
Property Tax Savings
(2028/29 tax year)
- No upfront cost — fee only applies if we successfully reduce your assessment
- $30 NYS appeal fee — required by New York State on all filed appeals
- Refund authorized — if a refund for overpaid taxes is issued, ZapMyTax may collect and deduct fees from the refund
- 3-day cancellation — cancel without penalty within three days of signing (per NYS law)

- $50 processing fee — non-refundable, applies to all applications
- $30 NYS appeal fee — imposed by the state if an appeal is filed
- $60 market analysis fee — charged only on successful reductions
- 10-day cancellation — cancel by written notice within 10 days of signing, without penalty
- All townships covered — Babylon, Brookhaven, Huntington, Islip, Smithtown, Southold, East & South Hampton, Riverhead
